Getting There and Around

If you are arriving at Logan you have two options you can take the GAA shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel or take the metro to the Quincy Adams stop and call the hotel for their shuttle.According to the hotel their shuttle will be available but due to the number of people coming to the hotel that weekend they will be busy so you might want to call before you get to the Quincy Adams stop.

The GAA shuttle will cost you $10 with covers you from the airport to the hotel and then the hotel back to the airport when you leave.

The metro gets you about a mile and a half from the hotel. The stop is a 10-15 min ride from the hotel.

The Hotel

Reservations for the hotel have been made under player names. The final list will be available once we get conformation from the hotel.

You have two options to pay the room deposit.

a)If you are in your own room you can provide me with your CC number with which you intend to pay for the room. The initial room deposit (first night of $112 plus tax) will be changed to your card immediately and the balance once you check in. Due to the number of people making arrangements for that weekend the hotel has asked that all the info be provided on one form which means you can’t call the hotel with the CC info. If you are in anyway uneasy giving me your CC info the only promise I can make is that my info will be on the form as well due to the shared rooms so I have the same interest to protecting the information.

b)If you are in a shared room or do not have a CC available you will need to provide the $70 room deposit by Wednesday Aug 13th to hold your space in the room. Unfortunately the club does not have the resources to risk paying for empty rooms.


The deposit is just an estimate for the cost of the room. Depending on available club funds each active member who has paid their dues will receive money towards the cost of their bed. Once we have a total count of the members going and the available funds the board will decide how to distribute the money.

The Fields

All the games are scheduled to be played at the Irish Cultural Center in Canton. The address is 200 New Boston Drive, Canton, MA02021. For additional information and directions: www.irishculture.org

The GAA has arranged for busses to run from the hotel out to the fields. The cost is $10 for the entire weekend and takes about an hour each way.

There is an entrance fee into the park of $10 Friday, $15 Saturday, $20 Sunday or $35 for a weekend pass.
